I used to use an Apple Newton, but I had a problem with the battery that backs up the memory. They couldn't fix it, and now you can't get them any more. I loved my Newton in a way that you wouldn't understand unless you had one. Now that I have a Pilot, I find that it's a good tool and very useful, but still...I use it and I enjoy it, I only wish it were insanely great. MacOS Palmtops in 1999 or so...
